Located at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Robert Frederick Smith Explore Your Family History Center (FHC) helps people learn the basics of African American genealogy research. The FHC offers virtual and in-person genealogy research sessions for anyone interested in discovering more about their ancestors. The FHC also hosts public programs that cover a variety of topics related to African American genealogy, history, and culture.
